The Brenham Music Academy is a coalition of teachers led by pianist Cheryl Amelang, that has been in the business of teaching and training musicians in the Brenham area for many years. They are dedicated to bringing the best possible instrumental and music theory instruction to you and your children. BMA's new facility features an instructor-assisted computer lab as well as private rooms for individual instrumental instruction. Their hand picked teachers have had years of teaching and performing experience and are students themselves, always striving to learn more and be the best. SirenSound Productions
BMA is home to the only state of the art recording studio in Brenham. SirenSound Productions Recording Studios are located in the BMA facility and if you are interested in any type of recording, mixing, or audio editing please call 832-428-8222 or the music school.
Music for Little Mozarts
For younger students (ages four to six) BMA offers Music For Little Mozarts, the premier piano education program for children ages 4-6. Mozart Mouse and Beethoven Bear accompany this innovative piano course that children love! This course focuses on introducing the piano to young children through music and games in a group setting.
Classes meet one time each week for 45 minutes and will follow the public school schedule. You will receive a calendar with all class days highlighted. Summer sessions will also be available.
Parent participation is not mandatory, although parents are encouraged to participate in the weekly lessons. Attending and assisting during the first lesson, then once a month after that will provide you with the opportunity to share these experiences with your child. Parents will also receive clear instructions on how to assist with at-home practice.
Summer Camps
Summer lessons are available in a 6-lesson block at the beginning of the summer and scheduled according to the most convenient time for you and your child.
